Description:   Partly restored in plaster. None of the rim preserved. A deep bowl of very heavy fabric, on a low base; across the middle inside is a rectangular tunnel with a section taken out at the middle, leaving two mouths facing each other; holes through the wall of the basin, one above the tunnel, another between its facing mouths. On the outside, two horizontal half-moon handles applied to side, on the axis of the tunnel rather than the axis of the pot.
Coarse red clay with grits; white slip.
ADDENDA Lower spout surrounded by a lip. Upper spout has traces of some thickening to righ and below. Probably a foot bath.
