Title:   Black Glaze Bowl: Type D and Stamped

Description:   One edge chipped. Moulded rim, curving in; flattened ovolo profile; heavy base with straight sides and flat bottom and a small sunken area in the middle. The inside is painted red with four stamped palmettes; there is a reserved line between the body and the base; the bottom of the base is unglazed except in the sunken area which is painted red with a black band round the outer edge.
Attic clay; the black glaze somewhat mottled red from firing.
