Title:   Black Figure Bowl Fragment

Description:   The start of the wall, and about half of the flaring base preserved, concave underneath and grooved on the outer edge. On the interior, around a glazed center, four broad concentric bands of glaze, separated by narrow reserved lines. The first and third bands painted with purple added over the glaze. Outside, on the body, rays. The top of the foot glazed; below, a broad band of glaze around the outer edge; in the center, beneath a small circular depression, also glazed.
Orange pink clay, covered with a very fine light cream slip and decorated in red glaze (fired partly black outside).
