Description: | Piece of Western Sigillata bowl; broken all around, but preserved to just below lip. A male head with flowing hair, facing right, applied on the rim. On the side wall, separated from the rim by a projecting ridge, a band of dots with tongues below; a bit of relief pattern below this. On the inside, a groove below the lip, and a ridge, set off by two grooves, at junction of wall and rim. Glaze slightly chipped. | |
