Title:   Plate Fragment with Rouletting: Stamped

Description:   Mended from three pieces; about two-thirds of the rim missing. Heavy ring foot; flat plate surrounded by erect rim, incurving very slightly at top.
Five neat nine-petalled palmettes, the tips of the lower six petals bent sharply down; central motif, asterisk with dots between points; all surrounded by double rouletted circle.
Buff clay. Good red glaze overall.
