Title:   Black Figure Skyphos

Description:   Base and one side and part of the other preserved. Flaring ring base; out-turned lip.
A: Between palmettes among branches and fruits, a man seizes a lady around the legs. She is moving right, lifting up her himation with the left hand and clasping her head with her right hand. She wears a band around her hair that rises in a tufty knot behind. The man is nude save for a little drapery knotted around his thighs.
B: A similar scene, broken off at the top.
Fine black glaze, fairly careless incisions, no color.
