Title:   Pyxis with Lid: West Slope
Category:   Pottery
Description:   a) A small deep bowl on a ring foot; the flanged inside to take a lid. About one-third of the wall missing. Thin black to brown glaze considerably worn.
b) A small lid, with moulded knob handle and down-turned rim. Decorated on the top in white and clay color; a cross on the handle, a large bead and reel on the top. Glaze similar to that on a).
The lid would be suitable for a bowl such as a) but this example is slightly too small to belong.
