Title:   Krater Fragments

Description:   a) mended from three fragments, preserves part of the rim decorated with groups of cross stripes, on flat top. Outside, vertical panels: hatching, zigzag, and large guilloche, separated by narrow bands. Added white for one-half of the guilloche.
b) from the stand below, or possibly from another vase, preserves the remains of a checkerboard pattern on the upper part, which flares slightly above three horizontal stripes. Below, to the right, wavy horizontal lines; to the left, the front of a human head drawn in outline facing right.
Thin brownish glaze inside both fragments.
Context:   Cleaning wall.
