Title:   Black Figure Oinochoe Fragment

Description:   Mended from many fragments; mouth, neck, handle and much of walls missing, including most of figured panel. Broad, low, flaring ring foot; body nearly spherical. Of the figured panel only a bit of left border remains and the lower right corner, with legs and part of trunk of a nude male figure running to right; details incised. Panel is bordered by a gray to black line.
Deep buff clay; good black glaze; underside of foot reserved. Traces of a narrow band of applied color circling body below figured panel.
Context:   Well, bottom. Late 6th. c.
