Title:   Black Figure Cup Fragment

Description:   Fragment from wall of an open pot (Siana cup ?), preserving torso of a satyr or silen in obscene attitude. At upper edge of fragment is preserved trace of offset rim, defined by a black line, which the figure's head must have crossed.
Pinkish-buff clay; black glaze for figure and inside of pot. Outlines and details incised.
Context:   Well, depth uncertain. Late 6th. c.
