Title:   Beaker: Brittle Ware

Description:   Pieces from pot similar to P 8935 (Χ 118). Fragment a) shows the beginning of a vertical lip set in from side wall. Fragment b) preserves the base, similar to that of P 8934 (Χ 117), but with the foot a more marked ring. Fragments c) and d) come from the walls.
Fine micaceous red clay, fired gray around the upper part of the outside.
ADDENDA A few more fragments, including part of the lip, found in mending, make it possible to restore the cup in plaster. Low ring foot; steep flaring walls; high rim, inset slightly from the walls, and drawing in towards a very small flaring lip; rim slightly convex.
