Title:   Black Figure Lekanis Fragment

Description:   Fragment from rim of open bowl. Above, rosette, the petals alternately red and black. Below, part of an animal frieze; a raised paw, and the head of a lion, left, turned back. The rim is flat-topped and has a marked overhang on exterior. Black glaze on interior and on top of rim. Red lines on top of rim, two very close together near outer edge; one, possibly more, near inner edge.
Pale clay.
Context:   Found with large animal frieze fragments (P 480, Δ 265).
