Description: | Preserved: the complete circle of the base and a strip of body up to about the middle of the neck; the whole strengthened with plaster. Also two fragments of handle and a number of non-joining body fragments, all very weathered, and preserving no decoration, beyond a few small patches of glaze. Lower part of pattern on neck preserved: butterfly motif between groups of bars; two narrow reserved lines below. On shoulder, in a panel, two maeander keys. On body, three groups of narrow reserved and black lines. Clay very soft and flaky. Glaze all shades from black to red. | |
