Description: | Fragment from near top, broken all around. Two warriors in combat. Of the one on the right there remains a thigh, a Boeotian shield with two snakes flanking a rosette, and a spear; of the one on the left, the rim of the inside of his shield. added purple for center of rosette, eyes of snakes, ring of spear. Relief contour. At upper edge as preserved, a trace of a red border line. Two original small suspension holes; below them a large drilled hole. The back is quite flat and smooth. | |
