Title:   Bowl Fragments with Sgraffito Decoration

Description:   About one-half of the rim and walls of a wide bowl with slightly incurving rim. None of the foot preserved. In the center, a conventional design(?) against an imbricated background in a medallion, surrounded by a band of rinceau.
Red clay; yellow glaze; white slip on exterior.
Context:   Cistern. Burned layer.
Handling:   keep dust-free
should be kept in shallow box or tray in order not to lose unjoined fragments (3 groups)
