Description:   Much of floor and rim missing; full profile preserved. Restored in plaster. Hellenistic plate with high heavy base ring and rolled flattened rim. On the floor, well off center, a small round stamp, a bird with folded wings, right.
Fair black glaze, dark red at center of floor, and inside foot, from stacking. A rectangular depression on the outside of the foot, made before glazing, might possibly be a second stamp (illegible); but more probably an accident in making.
