In front of him, a volute plant; beneath, dotted wave-pattern; behind, various objects, and part of an animal (probably the tail and wing tip of a large goose (?), as Olynthus, V, no. 212 Pl. 110.) Not head and wing of small bird (?). Relief contour for the child's right thigh only. Down-turned rim, grooved above. Shape as N.Y. Shapes. (2), fig. 144, but with the centre pierced to take a ring handle. Compare also P 92-93. | |
