Title:   Female Head
Description:   Broken off at neck in slanting line from front to back.
A young woman is represented, her head bent at a slight angle sideways to the neck. Her hair is parted in the center and dressed high on her head behind. Her forehead is rounded and fairly high. The eyes are set far apart, and slope up slightly at the outer ends. The nose is very straight, and the line of it carried into the forehead so as to make a ridge in it. Cheeks are rather flat and unmodeled. The lips are full, the mouth small. The chin is rounded and a little heavy. The head is unfinished, as the side and back of the head show. The left ear is near completed, the right one rudely blocked out. The hair is impressionistic - great clumps of locks. Face smoothly finished, slightly polished.
