Description:   Complete save for a chip from the bottom
The back is roughly modelled; the bottom open.
A youthful female figure stands erect, the right knee out-thrust and slightly flexed. She is clad in a long himation which envelopes the right arm raised across the chest and falls loosely over the left forearm which rests on the abdomen. The hair is gathered into two rolls on top, running back from the brow, and it hangs in loose masses over the breast.
Clay: Firm, slightly micaceous, mottled buff to ash grey as a result of fire. Traces of a white engobe remain on flesh, hair and garment.
Notes:   There are 7 figurines with inventory number PNT 12 (PNT 12a-PNT 12g). This one is PNT 12a. The a has been omitted so that the photos can link to the catalogue card. (PK, March 2016)
