Description: | Only the lower part of the face remains. After moulding the nostrils and the corners of the mouth over emphasized by piercing. The size and glaze on the interior suggest that fragment comes from a plastic vase rather than a free standing figurines. Clay: Firm, buff. Covered inside with black glaze on the outside with white. On the lips red was laid on the white. | |
