Title: | Plastic Vase: Satyr | |
Description: | The head and right side of the figure remain. A wreathed and bearded satyr, stands erect, bracing himself to support some heavy object on his left shoulder. His border was undoubtedly the drunk Dionysos. Clay: Fine, buff, slightly micaceous, covered behind with black glaze in front with white paint. Over the white was laid yellow for the satyr's body, red for his face and tail, the background between his legs, and the base. There are traces of blue on the satyr's foot and on the object just above his head, which was probably a rotelle.
