Description:   Broken off at neck; end of beard missing. Surface badly worn in places. Nose battered.
Archaizing filleted head about one third life-size, probably from a herm. The hair if dressed over the forehead in rows of snail-curls, while that hanging down the back is rendered by parallel wavy lines; the start of a separate heavy lock, to hang down over the shoulder in front, is preserved on each side. The eyes are large with thick upper and lower lids. The hair of the beard is indicated by fairly naturalistic hook-curls; the mustache is long and flowing.
