Title:   Head of Male Figure

Description:   Small, bearded head, broken off at neck; nose damaged.
Hair fastened by a fillet; a mass of curls, with much drill work, framing the face, the hair on top of the head rendered by shallow parallel wavy lines. Short curling beard and flowing mustache. Projecting forehead, small mouth with slightly parted lips.
At top of head, behind front hair and slightly off center, the remains of an iron dowel.
Pentelic marble.
Mended with S 1991.
