Title:   Torso of Draped Female Figure

Description:   The present fragment is practically complete, save minor chips.
Scale slightly under life-size. Only the right half of the body is preserved, with three dowel-holes for attachment of the other half. Three dowel-holes for attachment of arm and one for leg.
The figure wears a thin chiton, high-girt; the back is only roughly blocked out.
Pentelic marble.
Split by rusting of ancient iron dowel. Iron removed and fragments glued together again (March 1954).
