Title:   Head of Male Figure: Silenus

Description:   Broken off at bottom from nape of neck to base of beard. End of nose, forehead and back of cranium chipped.
Bearded Silenus with pointed ears, ivy garland and full beard parted at center of chin. Head bald, two horizontal furrows on forehead, and two vertical furrows between eyebrows. Skin on face and top of head polished, beard and garland left slightly rough; back of head much more carelessly and incompletely executed than front.
Island marble.
