Description: | Small head, chips missing from the left side of the face, and the nose. Finished off smooth at the bottom of the neck. All much battered and stained with iron. A roll of hair, or a wreath, around the face; the hair hangs down over the nape in neck. Traces of red color near the top of the head. Pentelic marble. ADDENDA The figure, Athena, wears an Attic helmet; hair waved up and across it at rear. (AS 1997) ADDENDA 2023: The iron pin (IL 2282) was set through the top of the head. Cf.
