Title:   Herm of Herakles

Description:   Head, neck, and forepart of figure's right arm bent in front of chest, are missing; broken off below, probably towards bottom of post in which statue ends. Club damaged.
The upper portion of the figure is closely wrapped in the lion's skin, which has everywhere been pock-mocked to indicate its texture. The left hand grasps the club, which rests against the left shoulder. Below it and the left forearm hang the lion's head and front paws.
Pentelic marble.
