Description:   Rear part of foot, including anklebone on each side. Lower edge of drapery on proper left. Left side finished smooth; right side has some rasp marks. At back of foot a remnant of a rough vertical drill hole ca. 0.012m. in diameter and still rising to a height of 0.06m.
Marked weathering at bottom of foot and lower edge of drapery.
Excellent workmanship.
From same series as S 1555 (Ρ 692), Altar of Ares series? Cf. also S 1461 (Ρ 549).
Pentelic marble.
Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   Picked up in loose Byzantine fill about 5.00m. south of S.W. corner of Altar of Ares.
