Description:   Cut for reuse (impost block). Broken at bottom; top and left side beveled; right side original (dressed with toothed chisel); back (picked) served as top of impost block. Projection portions of relief picked off. Traces of mortar and white wash.
Fragment shows part of torso and left arm of standing male figure, about life-size, nude but with chlamys (?) wrapped around left arm.
Broad simple style, and sculptured surfaces carefully finished.
An additional fragment (b), added May 1954 from same marble pile, shows handle of a loutrophoros on which the figure leans.
