Title:   Wing and Drapery Fragment

Description:   From lower edge of wing near body.
Preserves part of front surface, with feathers, and back surface, covered by folds of a flying mantle, of right wing of Nike or similar figure.
At top what seems to be a cutting for a repair or separately made piece. Feathers of late 5th c. type with double ribs.
Island marble.
Cf. S 2191 (ΚΤΛ 558).
Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   From marble pile to south of Hephaisteion. Not certainly from Agora excavations.
