Title:   Relief Fragment with Standing Female Figure
Category:   Sculpture
Description:   Broken all around except on rough-picked under surface.
Head, shoulders and feet of figure are broken away. The right leg is bent, the right arm hangs at the side, and the left arm is bent across the figure at the waist. Along garment hanging in straight folds and apparently descending as sleeves nearly to the wrists, covers the figure, and seems to have been girt about the waist.
Extremely coarse flat work, perhaps unfinished. A small bit of marble, part of a rectangle apparently originally ca. 0.03m. x 0.23m. with chiseled surface, has been left over the right knee. Object suspended from hand by painted connection, now missing or evidence of lack of finishing?
Pentelic marble.
