Title:   Torso of Male Figure: Asklepios

Description:   Draped male figure (Asklepios), about one-third life-size, wearing himation which frames chest, falls lightly over legs and heavily over left arm and down left side. Right arm broken at biceps. Stub of staff preserved under right arm.
Traces of bright red paint preserved on right side and back of garment and in folds. Burnt traces on left edge.
White marble.
Mended with S 1067.
Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   Just east of wall trench, east edge of road at about I line, under Agora water pipe.
