Title:   Relief Fragment with Kore or Artemis Phosphoros

Description:   Broken at left, bottom and back. Preserved is upper right corner. Figure preserved above waist; face broken away, right arm missing.
Naiskos framed relief. Top surface above first row of eaves tiles is cut flat. Simplified cornice rests on smooth architrave, which rests in turn on anta. Same scheme carried around right side with ovolo epikranitis over smooth wall. In recess of naiskos stands draped female wearing polos. Her left hand holds a long torch. She wears a high-girt chiton. Long locks fall down over breasts.
Perhaps kore, or Artemis Phosphoros.
Blue Hymettian marble.
