Title:   Relief Fragment: Artemis with Torch

Description:   Back finished smooth, edges broken.
The figure wearing an Ionic mantel that passes over her right shoulder, lacks head, left arm and legs. In her right hand she holds a long staff-like object, broken above and below, tapering towards the lower break, thus suggesting a torch. Much corroded.
Archaistic.
Pentelic marble.
Comes from the same monument as S 1726 (T 2414). Joins Acropolis 4962.
