Title:   Grave Relief Fragment

Description:   Fragment of draped female figure, shoulders to waist with right upper arm preserved. Head, left shoulder, breast and side broken off. Deep hollow where Isis knot and central folds of shawl were once in relief. Fringe along shawl on right shoulder. Spiky, tooth-like strands, folds of shawl are deeply drilled, narrow, tightly bunched. Numerous narrow folds on sleeve of her right arm. Rough-picked back of relief is worn smooth. Surface pitted and weathered.
Pentelic marble.
