Title:   Grave Relief Fragment: Isis

Description:   Neck to hips and right upper arm preserved. Broken on sides and back. Figure battered and weathered.
Small figure in high relief, wearing characteristic fringed shawl and Isis knot in center. Knot large and soft, thick edges of folds of the tied edge fall below. Shawl falls to right of figure in thick folds below upraised right arm. Two long locks of hair lie on her shoulders. Smooth background preserved above her right arm. A cluster of grapes (?), broken off, is on background to her right, near her head. Relief cut in a round monument.
Pentelic marble.
