Title:   Statuette Head: Male

Description:   A bearded male head, broken off at the root of the neck in which is a vertical dowel hole. Its abundant hair falls in a heavy ringlet down either side of the face. Over the back of the head it is combed down straight to be gathered into a heavy roll over the nape of the neck.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Byzantine Building, room xxvii, below floor 5.
