Title:   Grave Relief Fragment with Shoulder of Draped Figure

Description:   Fragment from relief of Roman grave monument; broken off all around.
About half of the upper left side of the figure remains, including the left shoulder and side of the neck, and the right hand which holds the drapery at the breast.
The dress is a himation with heavy folds indicated by deeply undercut grooves; the modeling of the hand is careless; the surface is finished with a rasp.
Pentelic marble.
