Title:   Stamped Amphora Handle: Knidian

Description:   Irregular curve fragment of handle resembling is shape slim Knidian type.
Probably from same pot as SS 674; same moderately fine red clay with greyish ring near surface, and cream slip, and effect of fine cracks.
Cf. SS 1096.
Impression partly broken away, but surface better than that of SS 674 and certain traces establish the close connection of these two with SS 885 of a similar fabric, though better baked. The right (proper) side of the bull's head, with neck, is distinguishable, and corresponding letters.
