Title:   Stamped Amphora Handle: Rhodian
Category:   SS Rhodian
Description:   Neck of jar mended from many fragments; surface largely gone. Angular rising handles, narrow-waisted; trace of the lower attachment of the more fragmentary one; rolled rim with flat insloping top; circle slightly compressed by handles.
Buff clay.
Impression A: slightly doubled; somewhat worn letters, perhaps from used die; worn at deep end, which is however the outer, more exposed end; incomplete above.
Impression B: the deep left end preserved; slightly doubled, but very sharp and fresh; cornucopia.
Cf. Nilsson (1909), p. 194; seven seals, of which five have this arrangement and where preserved, a cornucopia to the right.
