Title:   Stamped Amphora Fragment: Rhodian

Description:   Small double handle made up from sherds to below shoulder.
Fractional Rhodian amphora; substantially preserved to just below shoulder; thin cylindrical neck with narrow rolled l;ip; double handles made of two separate rolls of clay, gentled arched. Gradual slope from neck to shoulder.
Smooth buff clay and slip.
Very small rectangular stamp bridging both parts; possibly a rose(?).
Graffito (ligature) near base of neck.
Notes:   Small fragment of left handle originally catalogued; other fragments from tin 438.
