Title:   Horse Figurine
ΤΙΤΛΟΣ:   Τμήμα πήλινων ομοιωμάτων αλόγων
Category:   Terracotta
Description:   Large collared horse, which is part of a chariot group.
Right front leg missing. No tail. Mended from four fragments. On the back, behind the collar, a broken surface: rider, or additional harness (?).
Painted blue with traces of red paint on chest (bridle ?) and legs; also of white (?)
Pinkish buff clay.
The horse belongs to a group standing on a base. It fits on the irregular base which shows traces of attachment for four horses. (Traces underneath of its having rested on a roughly planed wooden surface). The absence of a tail and the presence of red paint at the back suggests that there was a chariot. (Cf. T 420).
One foreleg restored in plaster, and the horse fitted to its base, together with T 200 (5-10-1933).
