Title:   Mold for Head of Youth Figurine
ΤΙΤΛΟΣ:   Μήτρα κεφαλής άνδρα και σύγχρονο εκμαγείο
Category:   Terracotta Moulds
Description:   Chip missing from exterior of mould; otherwise complete.
Head with rather melancholy expression, tipped slightly to the figure 's right. The hair worn in short curling locks.
The positive shows a very carefully modelled head.
Fine pinkish-buff clay.
ADDENDA: Bronze style-impression (?). Pinched wrongly. String holes and tabs.
Cracked inside. Eyes slaut down convex corners.
ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ:   Μήτρα κεφαλής νέου, με ιδιαίτερα μελαγχολική έκφραση. Το κεφάλι είναι στραμμένο ελαφρώς προς τα δεξιά.
Context:   To east of Drain, layer III; Koukla Factory fill proper.
