Description:   The face, and the hair on the right side, and the finished lower edge of a tragic mask preserved.
Mostly open behind: the plain back turns in sharply where it joins the moulded hair, and then out again, at right angles. Eyes and mouth pierced.
Red color on the face.
Pale yellow buff clay.
Context:   Trench II, red earth. Destruction debris, Herulian or later, over S.W. temple. Found with T 438. Container 279.
