Title:   Statuette of Draped Female Figure

Description:   Figure draped in mantle.
Preserved from neck to a little below knee save for part of back and small pieces missing from front, one below raised hand and two drapery and left side.
Mantle envelopes most of the figure, sweeping across in broad folds and falling back over the left shoulder; the ends hang from the left forearm, the hand of which rests on the hip. Through the garment can be seen the right arm, bent sharply at the elbow and slightly at the wrist, and the slightly bent right knee. Left side, below the mantle, a little of the chiton is preserved (close folds).
Mold made, hollow. Back, very little modelling. Traces of white paint.
Pinkish buff clay, cream surface.
Context:   Pit. Found with Hellenistic sherds.
