Tongues in the soles of the feet for insertion into a base.; The left arm is outstretched, the right arm raised with the forearm resting on the crown of the head, the palm of the hand down, the fingers relaxed.; The long curly hair is elaborately dressed, with a braid from the center of the forehead, and a large knot, with projecting curls, at the back. A tree, with tendrils, in the background; hanging in its branches a quiver, right, and a cloak, left. Leaning against the panel edge, right, a knotted club. Band of buds, above; single ground line below. Red for forehead hair of both figures, for dots on the hanging cloak, and for the fillet which ties the up-turned hair of the younger figure. White for large fruits on the tree, for details on the quiver, for the axe handle, for dot-rosettes on both garments, and white glaze over-painting for the rock. Considerable incision.; ; B) Dionysos between two satyrs. Bud pattern above and ground line below, as on A. Dionysos cloaked and wreathed, moves right, looking back left, and holding a long drinking horn in his left hand. He is flanked by dancing satyrs, both looking towards him. Added red for beards, for the forehead hair of the satyr at left, and for the tails of both satyrs; also for leaves of Dionysos' wreath.
