A well in room A of the Archaic House. Well with very irregular outline, cut down in the bedrock some 10m NE of the Tholos. Its filling yielded a handful of plain potsherds and the oinochoe P 13256 of ... Sub-Mycenaean(?)
Beneath layer 11. "Despite its extreme irregularity this pit may be an early well, for it would seem definitely to be an artificial cutting and sherds were found in its lowest part," (Nbp. 2095).
