Center of cup, preserving part of wall with vertical ribbing and central boss which is marked off by scraped groove outside. The boss itself is in the form of a plastic mask (satyr?).

| Rather less of walls preserved than in P 8480 (Ι 897). A non-joining fragment from shoulder shows that this was fairly sharp. Shape and fabric similar to P 8480.

Most of neck preserved and part of shoulder at one side. A simple cylindrical neck with turned-over lip. The shoulder appears to have been fairly flat.

About one-quarter preserved, mended from seven pieces. The bottom flat, inset a little from the lower edge of the walls, forming the resting surface. The sides slope outwards gradually, no rim.
