Title:   Sima Fragment with Water Spout
Category:   Architecture Marble
Description:   Parts of top, bottom and left end preserved.
Sima has straight face with no moldings or curves. A circular projecting waterspout, with most of the protruding tube broken away, begins 0.245m. from the left edge.
Top roughly worked; bottom, with slight anathyrosis, smoother, with traces of a groove near the front edge parallel to it. Anathyrosis on side and a cutting on side 0.138m. from face. Interior gutter slopes down from the side.
Parian marble.
Same as A 769, A 1981, A 2992. Cf. raking series A 390 etc.
Another large fragment added after 1952 completing the sima. Plaster restoration only on small section of spout. This fragment has no identifying number (LWK 1978).
