Incised lattice above. Below, between scraped grooves, a register of incised triangles with traces of white and orange paint, possibly a white dot at apex of central triangle. Fairly hard, micaceous, red fabric (2.5YR 5/6); dull glaze, mottled brown to dark red.
Cf. CVA, Kassel 2 [Germany 38], pl. 85 [1885]; Langlotz 1932, no. 663, p. 126, pl. 216. Both of these have been called Attic, and the latter is said to come from Athens, but, aside from this fragment, there are no parallels of definitely Attic provenience for this type of decoration.
